Wish Upon a DRYBONES Rainbow

Live a life in colour with DRYBONES!!

“If you want the rainbow, you’ve got to put up with the rain!”

When DRYBONES came on to the changing robe market in the Autumn of 2022, we noticed that there were quite a few robe brands starting to emerge. It was a great product, we loved it and wanted to get involved. It was a product that tied in well with our other outdoors, leisure and lifestyle products within our established company; Galaxy Kayaks

However, the one main thing that we noticed was how boring and dull the colours and designs all were. Well that was about to change!!

Mr Bones Branding and Logos

We started with our Mr Bones stylised logo and trademark. Mr Bones features on all of our robes and DRYBONES products, either within the different shaped logos or peering out from behind our bold, standout DRYBONES text. He’s a much loved character and greatly adored by all customers.

Our Catchy Tagline

Next we needed a great and catchy tagline: ‘Keeps Ya Dry to the Bone’. This fitted well with our concept, branding and the product.

Keep reading below to see our colour scheme emerge.

The DRYBONES Colour Range

Finally, we came to the colours. Orange is our signature DRYBONES brand colour and this would feature heavily throughout. It is the backbone colour of the brand and stands out in many areas, not just the actual robe colours, linings and designs, but also running throughout the website, all logos, our Wearedrybones Social Media platforms, the list goes on.

It was another area that we felt let other brands down and would allow us to stand out from the crowd. Big, Bold, Bright and Beautiful became our motto and we decided to design our robes in a stunning array of colours.

The Beginning

We started with 4 DRYBONES colours; bright pink, radiant turquoise, grey and black. However, it quickly became very clear that ‘bright and bold’ was what our customers wanted.

The Kizzy Camo Collection

Graeme, the MD, had already designed and led the camouflage colour market within the kayak world and knew these were a design colour way that stood out and were popular. We started to design and introduce these to our robes and they proved extremely popular.

Not just different to other robe brands on the market in colour, but also eye-catching, vibrant and easily visible making them not only fun and different but they had great and important safety qualities and aspects too.

Fast forward to the Summer of 2025 and DRYBONES now proudly stock 17 different colours of changing robe in 6 sizes, ranging from child’s XS up to XL

Pink, Orange, Turquoise, Sandstorm, Green, Red, Orange, Black, Black and Orange, Navy and Grey make up our 11 block colours. Whilst in the Kizzy Camo Collection range we have the Pink Fizz, Ocean, Blue Lagoon, Tiger, Snow Orange and Jungle. All with linings of our signature orange or grey.

We now even have many other brand, including the main market leader, copying our colours and colour ways. As they say “Imitation is flattery!”

How many DRYBONES’ do you need (or want)?

Which colour? You decide!

Or maybe, like many DRYBONES customers, one colour isn’t quite enough, and they end up with 2 or even 3 different coloured robes!
