Get the right size coat for your dog

Firstly, you need to measure your dog’s back length. You need to measure from the base of their neck to the base of the tail. This will give you measurement X (back length).

Secondly, you need to measure around your dog’s chest. Choose the part that is behind your dog’s front legs and is the widest and deepest. Measure all the way around their torso.  This is measurement Y (strap length).

The DRYBONES dog coat fits over your dog’s head. Smooth the main part of the coat over their back and the smaller, front part across their chest. Then fix the strap, Y, (which is adjustable), comfortably and firmly around your dog’s middle. The elasticated back leg straps are optional. Not all dogs like having these back leg straps on. They can ensure the coat is more securely held on in windy conditions, however, they don’t have to be used and they do not affect the overall performance of the dog coat on your canine companion. The elasticated leg straps are also loose fitting. There is a small zip on the back of the coat for dogs that wear a harness lead.
