The storm jacket is just beautiful! I loved the blue one so much that I decided to order a pink one too! The colours are strikingly beautiful. I’m usually a size 10-12 women’s and the small fits me perfectly with enough room to layer up underneath. I have tried and tested the jacket out in the rain and I can confirm I was completely bone dry after my walk! Highly recommend! Superb customer service also! Very happy customer!

Being a very keen clay pigeon shooter, I’ve always looked for a good warm, but more importantly a proper waterproof jacket. But at a sensible price!
Most specific shooting jackets seem to fall short in one department or another.
My partner already had a long drybones robe and has always raved about it. When I saw the storm jacket and it’s specs, I thought this could be ideal for me.
After contacting the guys at Drybones as I was unsure of size, I visited the office in Alcester and went with the XL as I thought this would give me the room for movement whilst shooting, plus the ability to add layers underneath if required.
Well the storm jacket has performed over and above my expectations.
The waterproof aspect is phenomenal, no water ingress what so ever!!
The warmth aspect works very well indeed too, definately keeps that cold wind out!!
Just need to work out my best under layers now as to not get too warm, currently using a base layer long sleeve shirt and a Harkilla Gillette. This has kept me more than warm enough in -3°C and still gives me totally unrestricted movement!
If your looking for a shooting jacket, away from the conventional shooting gear this is the perfect choice!!
