Packing a purple punch to Pancreatic Cancer!

When we were approached by Vicki Stevenson-Hornby on Instagram, a pancreatic cancer and pancreas specialist nurse, to ask if we would consider making a purple robe for her, it was a cause and request very close to DRYBONES’ hearts!!

Purple is the fundraising colour for Pancreatic Cancer UK and November is the main fundraising month for Pancreatic Cancer Awareness. So, the race was on the get Vicki her coat and to get a DRYBONES funky purple changing robe coat asap so we could get supporting Pancreatic cancer.

DRYBONES’ founder and owner Sally’s very own lovely Daddy died of this awful disease nearly 18 years ago. She knew first hand just how horrific and destructive this cancer was and still is. Vicki requested a bright pink lining and, on research, whilst there were many other purple robes out there on market, none had a pink lining. We were good to go. The lining would also help to pack a PINK PUNCH to Pancreatic Cancer. Add DRYBONES’ funky logos and branding to the design and production and we had a brilliant new design and robe.

DRYBONES is proud to be donating a percentage of the profits from our Purple robe directly to Vicki and Pancreatic Cancer research in the UK. We then also found out that one of our favourite ambassadors, Alex @thefashionablemummy father had also died of pancreatic cancer 38 years ago. It is shocking that we are still no further along to finding a cure and early diagnosis of one of cancer’s worst killers.

In tribute to the ‘WONDERFUL” Nhoji, we are proud to be introducing our fabulous Purple and Pink DRYBONES Changing robe and Waterproof coat.

Keeping you warm and dry, whether walking the dog, watching or playing sport or just out and about in the British weather, this very special DRYBONES coat is keeping you all Dry to the Bone!!

As Sally’s Dad used to wisely say; “Nothing lasts forever – good or bad!”

This is a limited edition robe. We have limited stock and sizes available. Once it’s gone, it’s gone!!

We Are DRYBONES. We Are Proud to Support Pancreatic Cancer UK.
