We first worked with The Willow Hill (@thewillowhill_) in the beautiful village of Aberdyfi, in Wales. They offer stunning glamping pods built in to the country-side with outstanding views of the Dyfi estuary and surrounding area. The Willow Hill offers extremely upmarket accommodation and DRYBONES were brought in to provide robes to match with their high expectations and delivery of an exceptional stay. Sally worked directly with The Willow Hill to fully design a robe for them to offer guests to use, after they have been in the stunning hot tubs on the pods terraces, walking in the local mountains, or down at the village seaside beach. The robe needed to dry people and keep them warm; work as a changing robe, but also a waterproof coat for out and about. The design team came up with a classy black and white, simple, yet stunning design which represented perfectly the Willow Hills effortless glamour. On a bespoke robe, our DRYBONES logos and branding are removed or heavily reduced. It is still a coat that we produce and manufacture for you, however, it is YOUR coat! A one off! Like no other! We were thrilled with the outcome and Gabby and Tilda from The Willow Hill are the perfect high-end models to showcase their beautiful robes.
DRYBONES are also proud to produce bespoke coats for schools. We first worked with BCS Birmingham to design a robe for them, for their sports staff and Y5/6 sports teams to use at both home and away sports fixtures and tournaments. A fully waterproof coat was needed to keep everyone warm and dry during the long days, in between games and waiting for matches. The first navy outer material offered to us by the factory was not quite right. The deep, dark navy of BCS’ branding and uniform needed to be matched exactly. Sally sent pieces of BCS uniform to the factory directly and we had the navy outer material specifically dyed to match their BCS branded navy colour exactly. The material is also 10000mm waterproof and 5000 breathability, of which DRYBONES has factory tested certification of, thus ensuring these robes are completely durable and effective in keeping the little BCS bones warm and dry. Once again, a few tweaks and moving/adding logos in the design process and BCS now have a robe that is keeping their staff and pupils happy and dry in the (sometimes hideous!) British weather. BCS are the envy of many other schools who very often comment on (and ask for the supplier of) their smart, useful and effective fully waterproof changing robes.
Quick to jump on board were other local schools; Warwick and Solihull. Secondary schools this time, so requiring teenage and adult sizes. Solihull opting for the deep, dark navy to match their uniform, Warwick opting for ever popular black, for their PAWS parents association Supporters and OW range. These schools already had well known ‘Sub’ coats but found them increasingly not warm enough, or waterproof enough, so came to DRYBONES with a necessity for an outdoor robe and coat to cover that essential need, for both pupils, staff and parents/supporters. Once again, 10000 mm and 5000 breathability, these schools are also now keeping extremely Dry to the Bone whilst out and about, playing or watching all the school sports; rugby, hockey, netball, football and even in between swimming races at long gala days.
All of these schools are provided with a dedicated page/link on our DRYBONES website, accessed only by their school specific private access code, to ensure safeguarding and confidentiality. This ensures the ordering process is completely secure for all schools; and the ordering, processing and delivery of the goods and robes is completely covered by DRYBONES for both ease and lack of hassle for the already busy and inundated schools.
